CONDITIONS

ELIGIBILITY
Entrant must be an amateur golfer who is a resident of Nebraska and a member of the Nebraska Golf Association.

Sectional Qualifying
Unless exempt, an entrant must qualify for the Championship proper through Sectional Qualifying. The number of qualifier's places at each location will be determined by the NGA after entries close, based on size and playing quality of the field. A tie for the last qualifier's place or an alternate's place will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off. A contestant may enter only once and attempt to qualify only one day, at one site.

If a sectional qualifying location has more players than can be accommodated, some players may be transferred to another location and the date of qualifying may be different than the original requested date. Transfers will be based on the date of receipt.

Qualifiers that withdrawal will be replaced by alternates from the same qualifying site. The order of alternates selected will be based upon qualifying score and performance in any subsequent play-off at the sectional site. If an exempt player withdraws after the entry deadline, the open spot will be filled by a qualifying alternate. The sectional site used to fill the open spot will be based upon the NGA's re-allotment list published following the close of entries.

Exception: If less than 180 entries are received by the July 9, 2010 deadline, the Nebraska Golf Association will cancel sectional qualifying and the non-exempt field will be limited to the players with the lowest active USGA Handicap Indexes as of the seventh revision, dated July 23, 2009.

The championship field will be limited to 144 players.

Amateur Status: All players must conform with the USGA Rules of Amateur Status as specified in the USGA Rules of Golf.

ENTRIES; FORM, FEE, CLOSING DATE
All players shall apply on NGA forms. Forms may be obtained from the NGA office or NGA web site, www.nebgolf.org.

Players attempting to qualify must pay a $75 fee. All successful qualifiers must pay an additional $75 prior to the championship. Exempt players must pay an entry fee of $150. Entry fee will be refunded regardless of reason if the NGA (402-505-4653) is notified before the close of entries. After the close of entries, fee will be refunded in the case of injury or illness, if requested by the first day of competition. No refund for any reason after the first day of competition. A $25 service charge will be deducted from all refunds.

ENTRY APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NGA NO LATER THAN 5 P.M. C.D.T. ON FRIDAY, JULY 9, 2009.

Late applications are not acceptable and will be automatically rejected. (Entries by telephone, telegraph, or FAX not acceptable.) Time limit for entries means time of receipt at NGA (not time entry is sent to NGA). Entries should be submitted early to allow ample time for delay or error in transmission. The risk of delay or error in transmission lies solely with the entrant and the NGA shall have no liability with respect to any such delay or error and the consequences therefrom, including rejection of the entry.
