and a member of the Nebraska Golf Association.
Sectional
Qualifying
Unless exempt, an entrant must qualify for the Championship
proper through Sectional Qualifying. The number of qualifier's
places at each location will be determined by the NGA after
entries close, based on size and playing quality of the field.
A tie for the last qualifier's place or an alternate's place
will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole play-off. A contestant
may enter only once and attempt to qualify only one day, at
one site.
If
a sectional qualifying location has more players than can be
accommodated, some players may be transferred to another location
and the date of qualifying may be different than the original
requested date. Transfers will be based on the date of receipt.
Qualifiers
that withdrawal will be replaced by alternates from the same
qualifying site. The order of alternates selected will be based
upon qualifying score and performance in any subsequent play-off
at the sectional site. If an exempt player withdraws after the
entry deadline, the open spot will be filled by a qualifying
alternate. The sectional site used to fill the open spot will
be based upon the NGA's re-allotment list published following
the close of entries.
Exception:
If less than 180 entries are received by the July 9, 2010 deadline,
the Nebraska Golf Association will cancel sectional qualifying
and the non-exempt field will be limited to the players with
