CHRISTIANSON WINS ON LAST HOLE AT GIRLS MATCH PLAY

York, NE - Armana Christianson of Omaha topped Katie Keiser of Gothenburg on the final hole Friday to win the 2008 Nebraska Girls' Match Play Championship 1 up at York Country Club. The back and forth match featured several lead changes before eventually arriving at the final hole All Square. A wayward drive led to a triple bogey 7 for Keiser as Christianson was conceded a tap in par for the victory.

Christianson was the Class A state high school champion last fall. The Girls' Match Play Championship was her first Junior Golf Association title.

In other action, Shelby Stone of St. Paul was the winner of the First Flight defeating Lauren Bahle of Norfolk 4 and 3. For complete results in all flights link to the scoring tab above.
