NGA 2009 AWARDS BANQUET AT THE COUNTRY CLUB

Omaha, NE - The Nebraska Golf Association cordially invites the public to the organization's 2009 Awards Banquet on Friday, November 6th at the Country Club of Lincoln. A social reception begins at 6:15 p.m. with the dinner program to follow at 7 p.m. Reservations are $30.

2009 Honorees include Nebraska Amateur Golfer of the Year - Brandon Crick of McCook, Nebraska Women's Amateur Golfer of the Year - J.C. Stevenson of Grand Island, Nebraska Junior Amateur Golfer of the Year - Andy Sajevic of Fremont and Nebraska Girl's Amateur Golfer of the Year - Danielle Lemek of Doniphan. Also to be recognized are the 2009 state champions, out-going NGA President, John Sajevic of Fremont and retiring NGA board members.

The Nebraska Golf Association, founded in 1966, conducts the state's amateur golf championships, governs its member clubs, and serves as the handicapping and course rating authority for its members and its member clubs. The NGA has 26,000 members and 165 member clubs.
