The Nebraska Cup Matches pit the top twelve amateur golfers in the state against the Nebraska Section of the PGA's top twelve professionals. The event feature's both Four-Ball and Singles matches in a Nassau-style scoring competition.

Last season the Nebraska PGA held on to win the 2009 Nebraska Cup Matches by 2 points at ArborLinks. The professionals held a 19-17 advantage after the morning Four-Ball matches and maintained that margin by halving the afternoon Singles. The PGA was led by Jon Petersen of Omaha's Mircale Hill GC who claimed all 9 points in his two matches. The overall series stands PGA 20, NGA 17.
