Directors Cup Matches (2013)

Hosted by the Nebraska Golf Association

This goodwill competition is staged every other year opposite the USGA's Men's State Team Championship and consists of round-robin Four-Ball, Foursomes and Singles matches between teams from Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. The next competition will be hosted by the NGA in 2013. The home team has won each of the six competitions held beginning in 2000.

The selection of the eight-man Nebraska Director's Cup team is based upon the final Director’s Cup Team Standings. The Director’s Cup Team Standings are determined by combining a player’s previous year’s point total with his 2013 points (through August 19) multiplied by 1.5. Those golfers ranked in the top six of the Director’s Cup Standings will qualify for the team. The Nebraska Golf Association Board of Directors has granted the NGA Tournament Committee the right to select the remainder of the team, including replacements for qualifiers.
