Nebraska-Kansas Junior Cup Matches

Prairie Dunes Country Club, Hutchinson, KS
August 8-10, 2010

This event pits the top eight junior golfers from Kansas and Nebraska against each other in a team match play format. The competition begins Monday, August 9 with morning Foursomes and afternoon Four-Ball matches and concludes Tuesday with eight singles matches. Similar to the Ryder Cup, each match is worth one point. Kansas defeated Nebraska 11-5 in the 2009 Junior Cup Matches at ArborLinks to square the overall series 12-12.

Selection of the Nebraska team is based upon the NGA's junior point standings. Those golfers ranked in the top seven qualify for the team. The Nebraska Golf Association Board of Directors has granted the NGA Junior Committee the right to select the remainder of the team, including replacements for qualifiers.
