The Nebraska
Golf Foundation's own Nebraska Kids on Course program offers children
from the Omaha Boys and Girls Clubs and Girls Inc. an introductory
course on the game of golf including lessons on life skills, rules
and etiquette. Upon completion of the program, graduates have access
to program golf courses for free. This pilot program based in Omaha
was created through a partnership with the Peter Kiewit Foundation
and it's Summer Fun program. Future plans are to expand the curriculum
statewide to ensure we reach as many deserving youth as possible.
