Nebraska-Kansas Junior Cup Matches (NGA)
August 8-10, 2010
Prairie Dunes Country Club, Hutchinson, Kansas

This event pits the top eight junior golfers from Kansas and Nebraska against each other in a team match play format. The competition begins Monday, August 9 with morning Foursomes and afternoon Four-Ball matches and concludes Tuesday with eight singles matches. Similar to the Ryder Cup, each match is worth one point. Kansas defeated Nebraska 11 - 5 in the 2009 Junior Cup Matches at ArborLinks to even the overall series (12-12).

Selection of the Nebraska team is based upon the NGA's junior point standings published July 15, 2010. Those golfers ranked in the top seven will qualify for the team. The Nebraska Golf Association Board of Directors has granted the NGA Junior Committee the right to select the remainder of the team, including replacements for qualifiers.

Girl's Four State Team Competition (NWAGA)
June 27-29, 2010
Otter Creek Golf Club, Ankeny, Iowa

A five-member team representing Nebraska annually competes against teams from Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. The format is 36-holes of team stroke-play competition where the best four of five scores count each round. North-South Junior Cup (NJGT)
August 13, 2010
The Pines Country Club, Valley

This Nebraska Junior Golf Tour event pits the top junior golfers from Nebraska against one another in a Ryder Cup-style team competition. Four (4) 12-13 year olds (4 boys); eight (8) 14-15 year olds (4 boys/4 girls) and sixteen (16) golfers age 16 and older (8 boys/8 girls) will be selected based upon their standing in the NJGT's Point Standings. Each team, the North and the South will be paired for two rounds of team match-play competition (Four-Ball and Foursomes) with each match worth a point. The winning team will be the side that accumulates the most points.
