The NGA's Rules of Golf Club continues in Omaha during the 2009/2010
offseason. Each session begins at 7 p.m. If you are interested

Rules of Golf Workshops
The NGA will conduct several Rules of Golf workshops prior to
the 2010 golf season. Listed below are the available programs
and their locations.
TWO-DAY USGA RULES
OF GOLF WORKSHOP
Saturday, March 6-Sunday, March 7, 2010
Hillcrest Country Club, Lincoln
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Registration Fee - $60
The NGA staff
will instruct this program covering Rules 1 through 28 in two
days of classroom instruction. Included in the registration fee
is continental breakfast and lunch both days, a Saturday cocktail
hour, a 2010-11 Rules of Golf booklet and 2010-11 Decisions on
the Rules of Golf book.

ONE-DAY TOURNAMENT
ADMINISTRATION WORKSHOP
Saturday, May 8, 2010
Quarry Oaks Golf Club, Ashland
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Registration Fee - $30
As the name
suggests, this workshop will offer information regarding tournament
organization and administration including such topics as: conditions
of competitions, formats, starting times and groups, deciding
ties, handicaps, prizes, transportation, preparing the course,
course set-up, marking the course, local rules, on-course administration,
how to referee. Included in the registration fee is continental
breakfast and lunch.

HALF-DAY USGA RULES
OF GOLF WORKSHOP

will instruct this program covering Playing the Ball (Rules 12-15)
and Relief Procedures (Rules 20-28) in a half-day of classroom
instruction. Included in the registration fee is a 2010-11 Rules
of Golf booklet and 2010-11 Decisions on the Rules of Golf book.

2010 High School
Rules Seminars
The Nebraska Golf Association will once again conduct a series
of free regional Rules of Golf workshops for high school players
and coaches this spring. These seminars are a great way to educate
your student-athletes before they enter the golf season and may
assist in making your 2010 competitions fair and enjoyable.
This year's
1 hour and 45 minute PowerPoint program will cover basic rules
golfers encounter during play with an attempt to engage the audience
by placing them in likely rules situations.
Those coaches
who attend will receive a 2010-11 Decisions on the Rules of Golf
Book. Players who attend will receive a 2010-11 Rules of Golf
Book.

Club Rules of Golf Workshops
The Nebraska Golf Association is pleased to present complimentary
rules of golf programs to member clubs/courses and associations.
The curriculum
for these seminars will be updated PowerPoint presentations and
video along with on-course sessions if applicable. Any member
club/course or association interested in offering their members
further educational programs should contact NGA Executive Director
