Point Standings

Point Standings and Evaluation Systems

The purpose of point standings and evaluation systems is to establish objective criteria by which the NGA can judge the performance of golfers who participate in state or national tournaments during a defined active golf season.

Point standings and player rankings derived from these point evaluation systems are used to determine awards, select team participants and exemptions.

An overall point evaluation system exists as well as separate systems for senior men and junior golfers.
