2025 NebGolf Wrapped
The year is coming to a close and we wanted to take a look back at the 2025 season, by the numbers.
In 2025, we had 33,423 members at 160 member clubs. It is the most individual members the association has had since 2000.

Those members posted an incredible 638,610 scores to GHIN, which was 20,000 more than in 2024. About 70% of those scores posted were 18-hole rounds, while 30% were 9-hole rounds.
The Club at Indian Creek was the most popular public course in the state, with 11,385 rounds posted this year. It was followed by The Prairie Club (10,896), Stone Creek Golf Course (10,709), Tiburon Golf Club (10,365) and Wild Horse Golf Club (8,619).
Platteview Golf Club checked in with the most rounds for a private course, totaling 17,550 rounds. The Players Club (16,921), Champions Run (15,489), The Pines Country Club (13,498) and Oak Hills Country Club (12,688) rounded out the top five on the private side.
The most active clubs in the state, included three non-green grass clubs. USGA/Nebraska GC members posted 75,593 rounds in 2025, while NebGolf Members Club - East member posted 72,477. The Nebraska Senior Golf Association totaled 43,882 rounds amongst its members. The Players Club (33,758) and Champions Run (29,910) members posted the most scores amongst green grass clubs.
Once again in 2025, several members played lots of golf throughout the year, with a short list of golfers who hit elite numbers. In total, 332 members posted at least 100 rounds in 2025, with 50 of those golfers posting 150 or more. Only a dozen were able to get in 200+ rounds, with just two eclipsing the 300 round mark. The most came from an Ogallala golfer, who posted a mind-boggling 337 rounds.
One might be surprised to see the range of Handicap Indexes in the state as well, with a low of +8.3, all the way to a high of 54.0. Most golfers fit in the middle of that, with 49.24% of NebGolf members falling between a 10.0 and a 29.0 Handicap Index. Meanwhile, another 27.49% are 29.1 and above, while only 23.27% are within single digits and less than a 10.0.
