OMAHA (July 15, 2026) – Cathal O'Sullivan of Sullivan Travel joins The NebGolf Podcast to talk about NebGolf's Northern Ireland Members' Trip in 2027.
O'Sullivan is the Founder and Managing Director of Sullivan Golf Travel. He founded the company in 2004 from his parents' house in County Limerick, and 22 years later, Sullivan is a leader in organizing golf trips in Ireland and Scotland, and has added several destinations, including England, Wales, Spain and Portugal.
Sullivan and NebGolf have partnered on a Members' Trip to Northern Ireland, July 24-31, 2027. The trip has a limited number of spots left for NebGolf members, who will stay seven nights and play five rounds of golf at world-class Irish links courses.
O'Sullivan talks about how he founded his company, and how the golf travel industry has changed in his country over the years. He also talks about what to expect on the NebGolf Trip, including the golf courses on the schedule, three of which are in the Top 100 in the World, according to Golf Digest.
NebGolf members who join the trip will get to play two of the Top 5, in fact, including No. 1 on the list, Royal County Down. The No. 5 course, Royal Portrush's Dunluce, is the only course outside of Great Britain to have hosted The Open Championship. Shane Lowry won there in 2019, and Scottie Scheffler won in 2025. Portstewart Golf Club's Strand course is also on the list, at T-87. The Valley Course at Royal Portrush and Ardglass Golf Club complete the trip, with two other highly respected courses.
