Awarii Dunes Wins First Interclub Championship

GOTHENBURG (September 18, 2023) – Awarii Dunes Golf Club won the 2023 NebGolf Interclub Championship at Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothenburg on Monday, winning for the first time.

Awarii Dunes took down the defending champions in the Semifinals, defeating Oak Hills Country Club, 13-11. They then played Platteview Golf Club in the Final, and the match ended in a 12-all tie, and a playoff followed.

Seth Blank of Awarii Dunes rolled in a short birdie putt on the first playoff hole, No. 1, to secure the win for his team.

Platteview defeated Ashland Golf Club in the other Semifinal match, 16-8, to earn their way into the Final.
