First Look at the "New" Old Dane
Dakota City Course Transformation Nearly Complete
Old Dane Golf Club's transformation from a nine-hole course to a 12-hole playground is nearly complete.
The Dakota City course is growing in ahead of its 2027 opening, and will bring something not seen before to the Nebraska golf landscape.
Canadian golf architect Trevor Dormer, a longtime Coore and Crenshaw associate, with the assistance of owner Will Andersen, designed and constructed an ambitious 12-hole golf course. It will bring another unique experience to northeast Nebraska, complimenting the Andersen family's highly-acclaimed Landmand Golf Club.
Old Dane is just a quick 10-minute drive from "Up Top" (Landmand), toward Sioux City. It will bring a contrasting experience to Landmand, which is a massive 18-hole course with scale not seen hardly anywhere.
The 12-hole sister course is built on just 93 acres, and will be walking-only. No tee times, just show up and play. There are six, nine and 12-hole loops, and even less if you only have time for a few holes.
