Drive, Chip and Putt Finalist from Bennington

OMAHA (April 15, 2023) – Bennington's Anna Midyett joined a short list of Nebraskans to step onto Augusta National Golf Club and compete in the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals earlier this month. Midyett and her father, Patrick, joined the NebGolf Podcast this week to talk about her experience.

Midyett (9) advanced through the Midwest Regional to compete in the Girls' 7-9 Age Division. The Finals take place at Augusta National, the Sunday before The Masters. Before Midyett even competed, she had already had an incredible experience, meeting pros like Nick Faldo, Jordan Spieth and Will Zalatoris.

She went on to finish tied for third in her age division, with her strongest performance coming in the Putting stage, where she was third with her two putts totaling 5-feet-11-inches from the hole.
