Omaha Native Caddied at 2009 Masters

OMAHA (April 6, 2022) – Omaha native John Rathouz joined the NebGolf Podcast to preview the 2022 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club, a place he is familiar with.

Rathouz, who attended Omaha Westside High School, has caddied on the PGA Tour for several different players. He now works with The Caddie Network to produce content, as well as a podcast, Under the Strap.

In 2009, he was caddying for John Merrick when he finished tied for sixth at The Masters. Rathouz talked about his experiences as a caddie at August National, from the jumpsuits to the amenities for caddies.

NGA staff member Ben Vigil and Rathouz talk about the golf course and the changes for 2022, and then take a look at the field and who could make a run.
