Kansas Rolls to Win 41st Kansas-Nebraska Junior Cup
Singles Matches Conducted Tuesday at Lawrence Country Club
LAWRENCE (August 4, 2026) - Kansas swept the Singles matches to run away with the 41st Kansas-Nebraska Junior Cup at Lawrence Country Club on Tuesday.
All eight singles matches went to Kansas, as they came back to win the Cup, 11-5. Kansas now leads the overall series, 24-17.
Nebraska entered the final day with a 5-3 lead, after the Four-Ball and Foursomes matches on Monday. However, Kansas took control on Tuesday, pulling off possibly the first ever sweep of the singles matches.
Only three matches went the distance, with Nebraska's Zack Erstad and Miles Elgert each losing, 1 down, on the 18th hole. Jaxson Hinze fell on the closing hole as well, 2 down.
Nebraska went into the final day needing just three points to retain the cup, but came out with zero. The Cup has now changed hands each of the last four years, with the home team winning each time.
