Interclub (2008)
The
Nebraska Golf Association's Interclub program is a team competition
between member clubs of the organization. Each team is comprised
of eight players (including one golf professional). Clubs are
grouped in divisions and play two home matches and two away matches
within their division. The team with the best overall record in
each of four divisions advances to the championship "final
four" administered by the association with the two semi-final
winners meeting in a final match to determine an NGA Interclub
champion.
Team
matches consist of eight singles matches and four Four-Ball matches,
each worth a point. Golfers are paired in handicap order with
the two lowest individuals (including the golf professional) competing
at scratch. The other six golfers are paired based on handicaps
and play net matches.
